Set Up And Management Of A Pay Per Click Campaign
When setting up a Pay Per Click Campaign we will go through the following steps :
1) Discuss objectives and budget of the campaign. This could be increased sales, membership sign ups etc. This will include an analysis of maximum cost per conversion (sale, sign up etc).
2) Competitor Analysis. We will look at your competitors’ ads to see what keywords they are bidding for and what their strategy is.
3) Keyword analysis. Work with you to choose appropriate keywords for your campaign.
4) Campaign set up. Using your objectives, budget and strengths we will set up a campaign that will bring in high quality targeted traffic. We will go for quality traffic rather than high volume. After all you do not want to pay for irrelevant visits to your web site!
5) Campaign Management. We will monitor your campaign to see which keywords are converting. Determine your return on investment (ROI) for each keyword (how much extra income you are deriving from the ad in relation to its cost). Use a range of statistics to monitor and improve your campaign. We will also provide you with detailed reports on your ads performance.
Cost
The cost of each campaign will be made up of two elements. The cost you pay per click i.e. each time someone clicks on your ad and our management time for setting up and running the campaign.
Cost per click – This typically ranges from 10p to £1 (US 10 cents to $1) depending on how competitive your industry and keywords are.
Management Fee – This will depend on the size of your campaign and hence the amount of time we would need to spend on your campaign. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

How Can A Pay Per Click Campaign Help My Business?
Ever wondered how effective all that money you spent on advertising was?
Using Pay Per Click Advertising you can see by keyword how many sales you are making or how many people are signing up to your newsletter. Not only that on eCommerce web sites you can see the total sales value derived from customers who have come from a PPC ad. You can easily track the cost of your advertising against revenue derived from your campaign. Never before has it been so easy to see how profitable your advertising expenditure really is.
If I spend all this money on Pay Per Click could my ad be 20 pages into the search engine results and never seen?
We can guarantee the placing of your ad on the first page even as the first search listing for the that search. Unlike organic search engine optimisation where there are no guarantees as to where you will be listed in the search engines.
Will it take weeks or months for me to appear on the first page of the Search Engine?
Unlike search engine optimisation techniques that can take weeks if not months to see the benefit of Pay Per Click can be on the first search page of the Search Engines in minutes for Google and 24 hours for Yahoo.
This all sounds very good but I am not convinced that this will be profitable for my business?
With Pay Per Click you can set your daily budget to whatever amount you wish to spend. Some of our clients who are not sure initially set a low budget to see if it works for them and then scale up their expenditure when they see their campaign becoming profitable.
Why should I use an Agency?
You can set up a Pay Per Click Campaign yourself. However it takes a considerable amount of time to set up and manage a Pay Per Click Campaign. We will use our experience to get you high quality targeted traffic at low click through rates ensuring you have a high ROI. By outsourcing this function to an agency it will free up your time to focus on running your core business.

Google + Pay Per Click Management Agencies

Profit sharing with PPC management agencies
The search giant redefined its relationship with pay per click management agencies to create a more “level” playing field for all SEM ( http://www.accuracast.com/services/sem-consulting.php ) Agencies and clients. In the past, large agencies and clients that spent millions of Euros per quarter reportedly received as much as 15% commission for the advertising business they brought Google. The ceiling to receive commission from Google is now supposed to be lowered, so that clients spending over 250,000 Euro per quarter will be eligible for one of eight tiers of commissions ranging from 3 to 8%.
Ironically, this does not quite create a level playing field. Agencies that receive a commission could pay it back to their clients in order to effectively lower the clients’ net CPC. However, agencies that do not receive any commission might get left out of the loop as they can’t compete on the lowered net CPC. This a different story in itself, though.
Google’s plans For SEO & SEM
During a private conversation with the Director of European Sales and Operations, Google Europe, we got a sneak peak at Google’s vision for SEO ( http://www.accuracast.com/services/search-engine-optimisation/ ) and SEM as an industry. Google believe that the SEO industry will cease to exist in the next few months or a year. SEO, as we know it, will supposedly be reduced to just a few bottom-scrapers still trying to outsmart the search engines. The vast majority of SEM agencies will realize the benefit of pay per click advertising, and the fact that it is the only sure-fire way to be listed in the Google search results, and will adapt it as their primary marketing method.
Future SEO landscape
If we ignore the naysayers, doomsday predictors and hopefuls for a moment and survey the current search engine optimization landscape, we will find that the search behemoth are perhaps not far from the truth. Most unscrupulous means of SEO have been quashed. Just like virus creators, black hat SEO’s will always find new techniques to outsmart the SE, but the vast majority of SEO’s will give up the chase and settle for the more reliable paths. Moreover, the advent of local and personal search have made reviewing and tracking optimization ( http://www.accuracast.com/services/search-engine-optimisation/implementation.php ) in general more challenging.
Future for Pay Per Click management agencies
The real motivation behind Google’s maneuvers becomes evident when we consider what these changes imply to the future of pay per click management agencies. Consider this:
• It should now be easier to earn large commissions on pay per click ad spend
• Returns are more easily guaranteed to clients with PPC
• SEO is perceived to be more difficult and less rewarding
• Google themselves intend to drive SEO agencies out of business if they stick to SEO, and they are providing lower hanging fruit to agencies so that they consider switching more clients to pay per click advertising
Google users might benefit from these changes too, as fewer spam sites make it into the top 10 results. However, the real winners in this plot are painfully obvious here!

The Balancing Act in Pay Per Click Management
March 7, 2009 by PPC Expert
Filed under Pay Per Click Management
Scenario 1. After a PPC Campaign is optimized and delivering excellent results, the client – 9 times out of 10 – will want to spend more … which is great! However, sometimes the client is in a niche industry and is only selling 1 product or service. In this case, spending more isn’t an option for growth because in order to spend more (in efforts to make more), the optimization setting on the campaign will have to be undone.
Scenario 2. Some clients have many items for sale on their website – and vast resources of cash to throw at it. However, due to competition, pricing, availability of the item or poor website conversion rates – achieving a favorable ROAS (or ROI) often involve not being able to spend the entire monthly budget. When optimization settings are undone or even altered they risk tanking their ROI (ROAS) stats.
Scenario 3. In the beginning stages of PPC Marketing many companies have limited budgets at first, but have thousands of keywords / products. This is a scenaro where the client’s budgets do not support their keyword bank (number of keywords in their account). This forces Google to sporadically show their ads throughout the day to provide ample coverage of their ads based on their daily ad spend limits.
So what is the solution to all of these scenarios? That’s a good question in that no two Pay Per Click Campaigns are the same. To implement a broad / blanket solution to any of these scenarios could lead to a negative resolution. Each case needs to be analyzed from both a Pay Per Click Management perspective as well as from a business perspective. When those two elements are considered during the problem solving process the outcome is usually favorable and profitable. As PPC Managers, we owe it to our clients to give them the facts and sometimes the hard truth. But in the long run, if your motives are pure (not making excuses) your clients will respect you and continue the business relationship.

PPC Management Starts with A Great Keyword List
February 27, 2009 by PPC Expert

Here’s a quick example of how to expand your lists by investigating related avenues. In this example I’ll use mortgage as the base keyword.
Mortgage is a very competitive keyword on the Net simply because the commissions are so high. So how do you break into the market without paying over the odds?
Create your first list and think of different ways your prospect could interpret mortgage e.g. buy house, bad credit mortgage, best loan, house purchase finance, no status loan, home finance, etc. This really is only slightly removed from the base keyword, you should dig deeper still.
Next try expanding into types of mortgage – flexible, interest only etc. take these and mix them up with your first list, as you do this you’ll find avenues of keyword groups present themselves from single keywords e.g. interest only house loan, flexible home finance etc.
You could create an Ad group focused entirely on mortgage company names take that further still and add a .com to the name or a co.uk or your own country extension e.g. www.somemortgagecompany.com.au It doesn’t matter if this domain doesn’t exist, people type things like this into a search engine so it’s possible you can pick up low cost traffic with these keywords.
Avoid the general keywords and dig a little deeper to expand on related terms or, here’s a good one, rephrase those terms e.g. turn cheap mortgage around and use mortgage cheap too. Put yourself in your prospects shoes. What would they search for? How would they type it into Google? People don’t always type a search phrase in a logical order.
For some quick avenues to explore check out these keyword goldmines -
Plurals, domain names, serial numbers, product numbers, spelling errors, no spaces between the phrase words e.g. buywidget. Add ..com or .net or .info etc, company names, company domain names, domain names and variations e.g. mydomain.com www.mydomain etc. Add superlatives e.g. best, cheap, cheapest, best buy. Competition site names, foreign words, US or UK spelling, product names, typo’s, hyphens instead of spaces.
Be sure to separate out all these keywords in to different lists. You should be setting up different Ad groups for each. It’s important to not just drop them all into one campaign together. Instead place all the typos in one Ad group all the plurals in another and so on. This will make for easietr targeting of your ad writing depending on your Ad groups keywords. Plus tracking results will be simpler.
Another great source for keywords are your site Log files trhey’ll tell you exactly what keyphrase has been used to find your site by a visitor.
Search for your main keywords on the search engines and see what related terms pop up. Check the meta tags on your competitors site. Check the copy on your competitors site.
Do you see were this is going. I trust that gives you an idea of the power of going deep and wide on your keyword list building. Remember this is the first building block on which to lay down your PPC management.

Negative Keywords and your PPC Management Strategy
February 18, 2009 by PPC Expert
Filed under Pay Per Click Management
What are Negative Keywords?: Negative Keywords are those handy little gems that help us filter out the possibility of attracting a non qualified user to the site. When certain keywords are designated as Negative Keywords, then Google will prevent your keywords from triggering your ads if that negative keyword was included in the search query.
How to use Negative Keywords: The effectiveness of your negative keyword list relies on the structure of your account. You can have negative keywords entered at the Account Level or at the Campaign Level. For example, let’s say you’re operating a website that provides clean jokes and stories for people to read. In this instance, an Account Level negative keyword list containing negative keywords like “nasty, dirty, sexy …” would be appropriate. Now let’s assume you run a Costume site selling costumes for many occasions. You could have a campaign set up for Children’s Halloween Costumes and a campaign for Adult Sexy Costumes. In this case you should put negative keywords at the Campaign Level of the Children’s Halloween Costumes like “sexy, adult, revealing, etc.” to prevent those keywords from triggering when kids are searching for Halloween costumes. Like wise, in your Adult Sexy Costumes campaign, you should enter Campaign Level Negative Keywords like “child, children, kids, etc.” to prevent any of your keywords from triggering as the result of children searching for costumes.
Negative Keyword Match Types: Negative keywords also have match types just like your regular keywords. There is negative-broad, negative-phrase and negative-exact. When using negative keywords it’s important that you use the correct form of the negative keyword. For best results, to avoid Google from mapping your negative keyword to multiple possibilites with their extended broad match, enter your negative keywords as negative-exact to ensure that the only way your ad won’t trigger is by someone typing in the negative keyword exactly as you entered it.
In Summary: Negative Keywords when used correctly will save you money, improve your online ROI from your pay per click accounts and present your site / products in a better light to all prospects searching for your products / service.

A Good Pay Per Click Management System
February 6, 2009 by PPC Expert
Filed under Pay Per Click Management
The first and the most essential factor in a pay per click campaign is the selection of search engines. There are several search engines in the web but the selection of the most effective one is most important. The primary job of a pay per click campaign is to attract traffic from the search engines and bring them to the concerned website. But if the traffic in the search engine itself is not of good quality then the traffic visiting the website shall not prove beneficial either. Search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN are the most popular ones followed by a list of another few that are used for PPC campaigns.
The next essential step in pay per click campaigns is the selection of keywords. Keywords are the most essential requirement of the search engine marketing. And in pay per clicks it is the keywords that are the core of the campaign. The most popular keywords find the highest position in the search engine ranking pages and is quite competitive too. Keywords selection should be based on its relevancy with the website and its popularity with the users.
Next comes into play bidding. The position of your ad depends on how much you can pay for your pay per click campaign. If you become the highest bidder of the website, you shall rank on the top of the SERP and so on. Next it is also important to monitor the performance of your ads that are placed in different search engines. This is necessary to find out which, ad is providing the most benefit and hence forth invest higher in it in the near future.
It is easy to earn a profit from your pay per click campaign, all you need to do is carry out each transaction carefully and with vigilance.

Discovering The Best Pay Per Click Management Company For Your Growing Website
January 25, 2009 by PPC Expert
Filed under Pay Per Click Management
When originally scouting out a pay per click management team for your website, you may want to look to advertise with the search engines that you use most frequently. For example, if you are a big user of Yahoo when looking something up on the web, you are going to find that Yahoo (formerly Overture pay per click) is probably going to be the best company. Why? The reason is because you use this search engine for a reason, and chances are people who are similar to you also prefer to use this search engine. You may not know this, but certain demographics tend to go to cetrain search engines, and you want to consider that when choosing a pay per click management firm.
Another thing to consider is your budget. Sometimes those who are trying to get advertisements on their website by starting a pay per click submissions program aren’t prepared for the success of the program. Success for pay per clicks can be a double-edged sword in that it can bring you a lot of business but also cost you a lot of money. The best pay per click submissions team is going to be able to maximize the profits while keeping the costs down as low as possible.
If you aren’t successful at first with the pay per clicks advertising that you are doing, you should be able to find support. For example, Overture pay per click has a lot of information at their website that can help you to maximize the program benefits. It makes sense that they would want to help you, because if you are successful, you are more likely to keep them as your pay per click management team.
When making changes, something as small as determining what page of your website your pay per clicks link lands the surfer on can make a world of difference, so make sure that you leave room in your plan to corner the business market for a couple of little tweaks to your plan.
A good pay per click management team will be patient enough to work with you, efficient enough to win you traffic (and a profit) and flexible enough to allow your website to grow and keep up with the direction your business takes you. A good pay per click company can bring you untold of riches for your web site if your a selling products. Even if you are selling a service or services it is without a shadow of doubt one of the best ways to get highly qualified leads to you site. Once you get this traffic to your site it is simply a case of converting this traffic into customers.

How to Manage Your PPC Services Campaign
January 3, 2009 by PPC Expert
Filed under Pay Per Click Management
There are a large number of agencies and PPC management organizations that take up the job of calculating and managing the pay per click services of websites. The organizations offer comprehensive and cost effective PPC Services management program which also ensure high ROIs,. Theses organizations also have the ability to cover various PPC campaign models that are supported by several search engines.
These PPC Services management programs also make use of PPC affiliate and PPC banner programs, that provide better results from the campaign. PPC services management is done in order to ensure a larger number of traffic flow into the website. The management agencies make use of listing appropriate keywords and phrases of the service and products offered by the advertisers to the search engines for a bidding game. The main focus of the management program is on the selection of the best keywords. The better and more popular a keyword, the higher are the chances of it getting clicks, which automatically makes the conversion rate higher.
The PPC Services management campaign does not only keep a track on the conversion rate but also check the fraud click spam process that is popular in the PPC campaigns. These organizations use tools and applications that help them scan the genuine clicks from the fraud ones. Another job of these management firms is to analyze the usability report of the website and suggest changes in order to make it more search engine oriented so that they receive a higher number of click. PPC Services has the potential to enhance your Online business. Make use of these incredible facilities and increase your business potentials Online.
